Phelps Tries to Change Swimming Law

Friday, August 7th, 2009

pMichael Phelps is heavily interested in phasing the swimming suits out of the sport all together and has openly expressed his dislike for the product.br / br / Phelps surprisingly lost his first major race in the 200 meter free style against Biedermann in Germany. Although the 14 time Olympic champion wears a swimsuit himself, the Speedo LZR, it is not as technologically advanced as the Arena X-Glide suit worn by fellow swimming champion, Biedermann.!–more–br / br / Swimmers from the past have complained about all sorts of other issues realted to the temperature of the swimming pool and even the color of the water. For example, Phelps could of easily commented about the a href=http://www.poolpartmart.co.uk/ target=_blankswimming pool chemicals/a not being a the correct level or the fact that the arena does not offer enough a href=http://www.poolpartmart.co.uk/acatalog/Solar_heaters.html target=_blankeco friendly swimming pool solutions/a as other places. Is Phelps trying to cover up his mistakes by making up all of these excuses? The competitor is so use to succeeding maybe it is time that he loses one once in a while to bring him back down to earth. To see Phelps not win a single thing this year is an absolute novelty as we are so used to seeing him win so many competitions.br / br / So instead of blaming the a href=http://www.poolpartmart.co.uk/acatalog/Filters.html target=_blankpool filters/a we have what I would consider a sore loser to be complaining about swim suits. I am not a professional swimmer but can a swimsuit makethat much of a difference in all of this?br / br / Michael Phelps has said that he wishes to step away from swimming suits and get the sport back to the roots by not allowing any other elements to assist your swimming. the eight time gold medal winner later added that he is looking forward to facing up against Biedermann in the summer.br / There is no doubt that the Beijing Olympics have been an absolute success for Phelps but can he continue his good fortune at the London 2012?/p
